Rickshaws are the means of communication in many villages and towns of our country. It is also the livelihood of a large number of people. Rickshaw pullers lead a hard life. Very few people have their own rickshaw. They get them on rent.
Very early in the morning a rickshaw puller starts his work and works till night. He works in all weathers and knows no rest. He is found everywhere, in marketplaces, besides schools, colleges, offices, bus stops and stations.
When a passenger approaches, he pays the fare and takes her to his destination. He works hard but is always a cheerful person. He survives from hand to mouth.
